Apply for Blacklisted Loans
Here, in South Africa, we have many banks that adhere to various underwriting criteria in order to remain competitive and in line with the rules set out by the National Credit Act (NCA), as all lending institutions are regulated by the National Credit Regulator (NCR).
Within those rules, the banks, financial institutions and lenders can make alterations to certain criteria, depending on their business model. But, in the end, it all comes down to these two basic principles:
- Affordability Assessment
- Credit Record
The fact that you are blacklisted does not necessarily mean that you cannot obtain a loan. You can get the money you need to pay your bills or other emergency expenses from a lender with more flexible criteria.
New reckless lending rules, outlined by the National Credit Act, have caused the banks to become more diligent in their unsecured lending criteria so as to curb rampant reckless lending. With the banks granting loans to people who can’t afford them and an industry rife with bad debt; loan defaults and garnishee judgments were created, making it difficult for people to maintain their normal living standards.
So, if you are looking for an unsecured loan and have bad credit or believe you have been blacklisted, our consultants are standing by to take your application. Should you not qualify for a loan, please be sure to ask the consultant who attends to you to advise you of alternative government-approved assistance to suit your circumstances.
